Congrats to Brian Lautenslager, winner of the Momenta Workshops scholarship! Coaches selected MMA Momma as their top pick from this year’s Fall Workshop, and Brian will be participating in Momenta’s Washington D.C. or New Orleans session next year.

The votes have been counted, and John Liau’s multimedia project, Inside Our Hearts, was selected by the workshop faculty as the winner of a full scholarship to Momenta Workshop’s Project New Orleans 2011.
John captured the story of the determination and strong will of the Carter family, which is comprised of two disabled parents raising a son, Angelo, who is a perfectly healthy and energetic 6 year old. You can watch it below.
The Project New Orleans workshop in April 2011 pairs student attendees with nonprofit organizations to document their efforts to rebuild the city after numerous recent tragedies. Thanks to Momenta Workshops for its generous contribution!
